Fun with the Fabulous Over 50s groups in Anerley
An event hosted by the Young Leaders at Anerley Town Hall – a Loved and Wanted venue – and CPCT’s contribution to the Spark Intergenerational Festival.
At Anerley Town Hall, we believe that everyone deserves a warm welcome and a vibrant community! Recently, we were thrilled to host our delightful Elders Tea Party on Monday, February 15, 2026, where we celebrated the joy of connection and togetherness.
This year, we embraced the spirit of the Chinese New Year with a festive feast, wishing everyone happiness with a heartfelt “Xīn Nián Hǎo!” Our dedicated team of young leaders transformed the hall into a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with beautifully set tables, delicious food, and engaging social activities.
What Made the Day Special?
Our Youth Manager, M,A., took the lead and brought everyone together with an energetic group dance, filling the room with laughter and joy. With over 20+ attendees, the energy was infectious! Our talented CPCT youth worker, Ashley Lee, dazzled guests with her culinary skills, serving a mouthwatering selection that included spring rolls, special fried rice, and a delightful veggie chow mein for our vegetarian friends.
