Sandra teaches Hatha Yoga with an emphasis on breath and alignment in a non-competitive environment. Classes include a vinyasa, with gentle or dynamic asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing techniques); variation asanas are included to suit the individual and alignments are checked. Relaxation and meditation are also part of the practice. Sandra has been practising yoga since 2007 and is a RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance, having received her training at Shiva Shakti Yoga in India.
Some of yoga’s benefits include improving posture, flexibility and focus, building muscle strength, in addition to improving sleeping patterns.
