Jack Petchey Internship
Crystal Palace Community Trust is looking for a youth work intern to join our amazing team; a diverse, welcoming group of people who put young people at the heart of everything they do. This is a great opportunity for someone genuinely interested in a career working with young people who is enthusiastic, energetic and wants to make a difference. You will work in a range of settings – youth club, schools, holiday programmes, residentials, detached, outreach and social action projects. With an understanding of the issues that impact young people you will be working from their starting point, addressing their needs and supporting their personal and social development through a programme of informal education.

The successful candidate will be part of the Jack Petchey Internship programme with 18 other interns from different youth organisations in London and Essex. This role involves face-to-face work with young people in a range of youth settings. You will be based at Anerley Town Hall (SE20 8BD). This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Hours of work: 36 per week, Monday to Friday, flexible working.
Salary: £24,542
Benefits: 20 days' holidays plus bank holidays and an additional 2 days leave at Christmas. There is potential to work flexibly, providing time off in lieu opportunities.
