Expressions of Interest are sought by Crystal Palace Community Trust for an individual, small business (either new or established) or social enterprise to run a Community Café at the former Old Library Annexe of Anerley Town Hall – now rebranded as ‘123 Anerley’

In addition to the provision of a quality food and drink service, the key outcome is to provide a meaningful community benefit such as training and employment support, local employment and/or social inclusion opportunities.

Crystal Palace Community Trust

Set up in 2004, The Trust’s mission is to stimulate economic and social regeneration in the Crystal Palace Area. The Trust took on the lease of Anerley Town Hall in 2017. In 2018 we began a major renovation of its decommissioned Library – a large and beautiful space where everyone is welcome. Within the building is a brand-new purpose-built kitchen and café which we hope will become a hub for the local community from Monday to Friday between 8am and 3 p.m. The main building houses 27 offices let to small businesses, and 2 large halls formerly open for functions and important life events. We also deliver a range of community activities

We want an enterprising group or individual to run a thriving and successful business with a community focus from this space.

Interested in the opportunity?

Please email for an opportunity to visit and view the space before Wednesday 30th September and if you wish to be considered for this opportunity send an initial response to the Expression of Interest (EOI) – with answers to the questions attached before Friday 9th October. We will then invite potential candidates for an informal interview before progressing to any formal agreement.

Please submit your EOI to Elaine Harrison at development@cpct.org.uk
